SWMS Electrical Installation
Safe work procedure for the electrical fit-out of electrical installations and equipment shall assess the risk of construction high-risk activities involved in the fit off of electrical equipment.
High-risk activities in construction that may expose workers to whs hazards and risks are likely to include but not be limited to:
Working on or near live electrical equipment, e.g. hazards of electricity
Implementing an isolation procedure for electrical equipment to ensure safety with electrical equipment
Lockout electrical equipment for electrical fit-out works
Testing electrical equipment per safe work procedure for electrical work
Use of electrical tools and equipment, e.g. insulated tools
Work at heights
